Rival would like to battle

Can't post pokemon (for reasons) so here are the rivals, Keydan and Pamella.

Kayden is the son of the two pokemon professors. He prefers to just get pokemon that he thinks are cool or strong looking and mainly wings battles, hoping to get by on strong pokemon as opposed to planning out a strategy. 

Pamella is the granddaughter to a former Steel-type elite 4 member from an other region. She prefers to plan out a team and have carefully balance strategy. She however spends too much time planning things out to properly train her pokemon, so they aren't particularly the strongest.

By the end of the game they decide to team up and try to be the best trainer duo, Pamella being the strategist and Kayden the battle master.
